Sessions
1. The Divine Exchange (Part 1)
This session delves into “The Divine Exchange” based on 2 Corinthians 5:21, summarizing the Essence of the Gospel. It explores eight elements of this exchange: Jesus taking our punishment, sickness, sin, and spiritual death, offering us remission, healing, righteousness, and His life (Zoe) in return. The session emphasizes the importance of faith in Christ to comprehend and experience this profound exchange.
2. The Divine Exchange (Part 2)
This part of “The Divine Exchange” series focuses on the fifth to eighth elements found in 2 Corinthians 5:21. It explains how Jesus experienced poverty to grant us abundance, took our shame to share His glory, endured rejection to offer us acceptance in God’s family, and bore our curses to provide blessings like victory, abundance, and favor. The purpose of this exchange is to build God a dwelling place in believers’ hearts. However, the lesson acknowledges that many may not fully embrace this profound concept.
3. The Triumph of Praise
This session contrasts victory and triumph, using Colossians 2:15 and 2 Corinthians 2:14. Victory is an instant accomplishment, while triumph is a celebratory event long after the victory. Paul uses “triumph” to highlight Christ’s finished work on the cross and urges believers to celebrate the victory won 2000 years ago. Believers are likened to being in a triumphal procession with Jesus as the head, celebrating through praise. By praising God amidst challenges, like Paul and Silas in prison, believers break the enemy’s bondage and embrace Christ’s victory. The conclusion emphasizes praising God to experience the power of triumph in everyday life.
4. What Activates Angels
This session explores the collaboration between the Holy Spirit and angels in the Book of Acts. Angels deliver messages, and the Holy Spirit directs ministry. This session outlines five principles to bring angels alongside believers: authority, sacrifice, prayer, almsgiving, and praise. Believers’ actions, especially their responses to God’s authority and expressions of faith, influence the ministry and help of angels in their lives.
5. How to Make Your Faith Work
This session highlights the importance of faith in a believer’s life. Faith is a gift from God, and everyone has been given a measure of it. To make faith work, one must act upon it and release it through actions aligned with God’s Word. Biblical examples show how faith in action brings about miracles and healing. The key takeaway is that faith comes from hearing God’s Word, and when acted upon, it produces powerful results in the lives of believers. The session encourages individuals to step out in faith, knowing that even a small measure can move mountains.
